Strella Changelog – June 26, 2026
This week we shipped automatic pass/fail grading for tasks, in-call interaction with live prototypes and websites, fixed fullscreen playback, and variant names in your Analysis filters.

Automatic pass/fail grading for tasks
Strella AI now watches each participant's screen recording for your tasks and grades whether they completed each one, with a plain-language summary of what they did, a pass rate across the study, and a "Where participants struggled" overview. You can filter any question's responses by who passed or failed a given task, and AI Chat can now draw on those pass/fail results.
Interact with live prototypes and websites during a call
Participants on desktop can now click and interact with the live website or prototype shown behind the question during a call, instead of only viewing it — making in-call prototype and usability testing more hands-on.
Fullscreen playback controls
When you watch a recording in fullscreen, the playback controls now stay reachable across the session modal, highlight reels, insights, and analysis clips.
Variant names in Analysis filters
Participant tags and breakdowns in Analysis now show your variant arm names, and the variant comparison filter is back in Analysis and Sessions.
Small fixes
- Recording activity accuracy: camera and screen-share activity is now measured more accurately across multi-part recordings
- AI moderator voices: a new English voice, Pippa, is now available when choosing your AI moderator's voice
- Quota answer options scroll: long answer lists in the Quota dialog now scroll so you can reach every option
