Strella Changelog – January 9, 2026

This week we shipped a new AI Chat mode for creating charts, a redesigned transcript experience, session modal enhancements with auto-saved playback and URL timestamps, and granular participant info settings.

Quant AI Chat mode

A new AI chat mode lets you explore your data quantitatively. Use the Visualize Data AI Chat mode to create charts or generate highlight reels – results appear inline in the conversation.

AI Chat timestamps

AI Chat now links directly to specific moments in sessions using clickable timestamps.

Redesigned transcript experience

The transcript viewer has been rebuilt with a cleaner, faster interface:

  • In-call surveys inline – Survey responses now appear directly in the transcript flow
  • Clickable timestamps – Click any timestamp to jump to that moment in the video
  • Faster scrolling – Improved virtualization makes long transcripts scroll smoothly
  • Consolidated speaker labels – Consecutive utterances from the same speaker are visually grouped
  • Updated selection toolbar – Select text to copy, create highlights, or jump to that timestamp

Session modal enhancements

We've added several quality-of-life improvements to the session modal:

  • Highlights – "Notes" have been renamed to "Highlights" across the platform
  • Resume playback – Video and audio playback position is automatically saved and restored when you return
  • Click-to-jump – Click any word in the transcript to jump directly to that moment
  • Shareable timestamps – Share session links that open at specific times

Granular participant info settings

Name and email collection are now separate settings. Previously you could only toggle both together – now you can require just a name, just an email, or neither.

Open sessions in new tabs

Ctrl/Cmd+click or middle-click on session cards to open them in a new browser tab.
